Hint: Each character must love one of your poems at least once and none of them can hate any of your poems. Monika is still self-aware, but has a valid reason for choosing not to corrupt the game which you will only achieve if you unlock her Sunday choice. The game doesn't change until you get to the Weekend choice. There's even a shortcut feature to blast through the 3 poem minigames with a result screen saying who Liked, Loved or Hated the poem. TLC is a rather short mod that aims to add endings to each of the characters. If you’re looking for something related to Monika from the start I suggest “Monikas Before Story”, but if you’re looking for a more complete game that takes the full base game into account then you might enjoy the other two as well. The latest commit on the GitHub page was on August 31st, 2018.If you’re not interested in “Monikas After Story” I’m sure there are a few mods others can point out that might lean more toward making the story a “dating sim”, but here are a few mods worth noting. As development went on, more members were recruited to the development team through applications (including five more writers, five artists, two editors and a composer), bringing the team total to 16 members. The DDLC Purist Mod began development in September 2017 shortly after Doki Doki Literature Club's release, initially with development members GarnetSunset, Tabuukilla, and Syzygy. The DDLC Purist Mod added 11+ hours of additional playtime to the base game, with each girl having a full-length route with at least one good and one bad ending. The DDLC Purist Mod has been in development since September 2017 and was released on the 24th of August 2018.
The mod takes place after the events of the game as a continuation of the story. The DDLC Purist Mod aims to turn Doki Doki Literature Club into a traditional visual novel/dating sim.
